Request for Proposals: Venue for Workshop in Petite Cote, Saly, Senegal

The Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack (GCPEA) [1] together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norway, and in collaboration with partners in the region, is organizing an in-person workshop on implementation of the Safe Schools Declaration in the Sahel region. The workshop will take place in person in Saly, Senegal in October 2023. Around 50 participants coming from different countries will participate.
GCPEA is calling for proposals from hotels in the area of Petite Cote, Saly, Senegal, that offer accommodation for the organizers and participants, as well as meeting rooms to carry out the workshop’s activities.
The workshop will consist of plenary sessions as well as small group exercises and discussions. A large meeting room as well as smaller rooms for the breakout groups are needed.
Requirements:
- Dates: arrival on October 23rd and departure on October 27th, 2023.
- Number of rooms: 45/50 rooms
- Full board: breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
- Rental of meeting rooms for three days: 24th, 25th, 26th of October. One room with capacity to accommodate 40/50 persons and two rooms with capacity to accommodate 15 persons.
- Coffee breaks: two per day on October 24th, 25th and 26th
- Internet connection: both in the residents’ rooms and the meeting rooms.
- Availability of shuttle service from and to the Blaise Diagne International Airport.
- Extremely high level of professionalism and experience organizing international workshops
- Hotel must be UN accredited
