September 2022: Plan International CO met with the General Inspector of Education to speak about the SSD (GCPEA had shared a briefing with key recommendations for GB’s endorsement in advance of the transforming education summit – plan used this briefing as the basis for this meeting). The Inspector was not aware about the SSD but agreed to inform the ministry and share the information with the minister of Education and other general directors. He said he would call for a meeting with the GLE (groupement d’education locale) to discuss the question of endorsement. Plan International CO will keep pushing for endorsement.
