May 2019: Participated in the Third International Conference in Palma.
September 2019: Nevena met with the Ambassador in Geneva. She was positve about the initiative and shared how it could be relevant for them as they still face challenges with the significant threat from unexploded war ordnance left over from World War Two, including close to school backgrounds. In the meantime, Nevena was liaising with the Ministry of Education and advised them on the endorsement procedure.
October 2018: Nevena sent a follow-up email to the Ambassador to congratulate Marshall Islands for being elected as a member of the Human Rights Council for 2020, and to ask for an update on the endorsement process. She highlighted that endorsement would be a further step towards exhibiting their commitment to protecting human rights, in particular the right to education for children affected by war.
October: The endorsement letter was received in Oslo on 29 of October.
