July 2018: Co-sponsored resolution 2427 (2018).
September 2018: Gisela sent a meeting request to meet with the WPS expert in NY. The mission responded that all diplomats were asked to go to Palau and would not be back until the 1st week of October. Gisela followed up with a letter addressed to the President, H.E. Mr. Thomas Remengesau Jr. and shared the Q&A on the Declaration.
May 2019: Participated in the Third International Conference in Palma.
October 2021: cosponsored UNSRC2601.
November 2022: Endorsed the Political Declaration on Strengthening the Protection of Civilians from the Humanitarian Consequences Arising from the Use of Explosive Weapons in Populated Areas (EWIPA) on 18 November during an International Conference hosted by Ireland, the leader and penholder behind the Declaration.
