Abhishek Tiwary
Communications and Operations Fellow

Abhishek Tiwary is a Communications and Operations Fellow at the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack (GCPEA) through the Atlas Corps Fellowship at Cultural Vistas. In this role, he develops and implements GCPEA’s communications strategy, supports the Coalition’s operational needs, tracks grant requirements and reporting, and contributes to outreach initiatives.
Prior to joining GCPEA, Abhishek worked with the Office of the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous state, focusing on public policy and governance. He has also served as a political consultant, advising national policymakers on a range of public policies. Previously, he was a Teach For India Fellow in Delhi, working to advance education equity. Abhishek is the founder of Bandhya Foundation, an NGO dedicated to creating safe spaces for vulnerable children after school. He has also been a Global Youth Leader with AIESEC, engaging in international youth leadership initiatives.
He holds master’s degrees in Political Science and Economics, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Calcutta University. Abhishek speaks English, Hindi, and Bengali.
