Apolline Montoya
Advocacy and Policy Adviser
Apolline Montoya is the Advocacy and Policy Adviser at GCPEA. Apolline supports GCPEA’s advocacy related to promoting the endorsement and implementation of the Safe Schools Declaration and the Guidelines for Protecting Schools and Universities from Military Use during Armed Conflict. Apolline previously worked at the UK Mission in Geneva in the Humanitarian Team. She also completed an internship at the International Criminal Court, in the Victims and Witness Section, and at the United Nations in Geneva, in the Office of the Director General. She holds a Masters degree in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as a Masters degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Waterloo.
